FAQ # 1 - How do we retain our team?
Advice - The founders need to do remapping of the resources, retrenching is not a solution as re-hiring will be another time consuming task for the founders.
1. Sales team will be idle for some time with travel restrictions and this calls for reallocation of tasks as per their skill sets. Train and shift them to digital / online marketing job.
2. If you have a small team speak to every individual on a daily basis as they are working from home. Plan a video call with all team members twice a week, if the team is large it can be weekly huddle.
3. You may have issues with full salary payments, please compensate the performers with some esop to bridge the gap and explain them the value. This is the right time and I am sure your investors won't mind.
